The World's Worst Spectator Sport

As much as we enjoy doing things with the grandchildren, diving is not one of them! We went to watch her last dive with the instructor. Sitting and watching bubbles in the hot sun isn't what one would call a exciting way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The good news she in now a certified diver. She starts college in August and wants to be a marine biologist, so the diving is something that she can use in school. They went to Collins Lake instead of the ocean, after the 2 kids from Carson City that died while taking their last diving lesson, the instructor decided until they found out what caused the accident he would go to the lake. We took Pepper with us and she likes to wade, not swim. While we were there a fishing derby was happening, I walked over to see when the weight in would be and the person holding the fish turned out to be an old friend of mine. We worked together on several jobs and he was working the derby. Small world. The fish he is holding weighed 7 1/2 pounds and was caught by the little girl behind the fish. Not much else happening, I go to the eye doctor Thursday, they keep rescheduling it. Jackie has a sleep study on May 10th, hooray! I get a quiet nights sleep. Weather cloudy, cool and possible showers. Have a nice Easter.

Kelly's Birthday

We had a virus in our computer and were down for a while. Had to send it in to the Computer Doctor to get fixed. Should be virus free now but you should cover your mouth and wash your hands after reading this blog, just in case. We haven't been doing much, a few doctor visits, got an appraisal on the trailer fender area. $2100 to fix it. Insurance company has alread approved it and we are getting it fixed before we move again. We had a little party for Kelly over the weekend. As you can see the girls were sitting and watching my amazing baseball skills. Heck, I almost hit the ball. We don't have much planned for the next month or so. The biggest thing is band that Clint (our son) is in will be one of the lead in bands for David Allen Coe. We haven't seen his band for years so a bunch of us are going to go. I have been a fan of Coe for a long time but he can get very raunchy. Don't know how bad he will get now that he is getting older. Had rain here yesterday

Back to California

We arrived back at the daughters this week, which is north of Sacramento. Drove a little over 1000 miles from Benson to here. Had a blow out on a trailer tire and did some damage to fender well area. We were about 50 miles south of Kingman Az on a 2 lane road but got lucky and were able to get pulled over in a safe place. AAA came on got us back on the road. Trailer tires usually never wear out, they rot out. They should be replaced every 5 years max not matter how good the tread is. Ours were 51/2 yrs old. We will be here until the 1st week of June. Kayla our #2 granddaughter graduates from High School. We have doctor appointments set up. I go see the eye doc on the 15th, hope to get left eye catract removed. I will try and keep the blog interesting while we sit here. It gets a little difficult to post something when you are just doing doctor stuff. But I find something. We are going to see David Allen Coe on May 11th. The band that Clint our son is in will be one of the opening groups for him. Weather nice but a little windy, at lease not dusty like Arizona.
